Silver Bullet Defense

The big day is here and reports say no Beanie. I think coach may be in Beanie's doghouse with that decision, but Tressel is always looking out for what is best for his players as well as his team. Beanie will hopefully get healthy, stay healthy, and have a great future with the Bucks and in the League. We as fans may feel that doesn't help us now, but we live for this moment and he has to live for the rest of his life no matter what happens tonight.

As much as I hate to see Beanie on the sideline tonight, I want to see him have a long and successful career and have faith coach is doing what is best for Beanie.

We all know that one player does not make a team. We also know how much one players impact can make a difference. Its foolish to believe that the game would not have a different outcome in some way if Beanie were in there. However, this team is loaded with talent and experience and should not have to rely on one person to win this game. In the 2006 NCG we lost Ted on the first play of the game. I think his loss changed the entire game. I also think that everyone on that team gave up a little when he left the game. Just like against Ohio last week they looked like they didn't want to play, let alone win a game. This week they know what they are facing and who is going into the fight with them. Its up to the team to play as one and get it done!!!
